We are excited to have formed a partnership with an award-winning European Doberman Pinscher breeder. One of the main goals of Republic Dobermans is to improve the breed. To a large degree, this means to specifically improve them in the United States. One of the main issues with European Dobermans stateside is that we have a limited amount of DNA and therefore a higher COI in some lines. By importing Doberman Pinscher puppies from Europe, we can increase the availability of diverse DNA in the U.S.A.

Considerations when deciding to purchase an imported Doberman puppy through our partner:

• Pricing will be different than ours, and will vary due to shipping costs, ear cropping and care for an extra month (or more, depending on your arrangements)
• Puppies imported from Europe will be at least 3 months old before they can enter the U.S.A.
• Puppies will be eligible for AKC registration via the foreign registration office
• Puppies will have ears cropped, and possibly standing or very close to standing on their own
• Puppies will be partially/full crate/house trained, depending on your preferred wait time
• Wait lists are shorter with our European partner and you can likely get a puppy sooner than on our wait list
