Favorite food: Anything that’s not his kibble – okra, yogurt, pumpkin, carrots, green beans

Favorite toy: his squeaky/crinkle dragon and these stuffingless animals (squirrel/raccoon/fox) that I lovingly refer to as roadkill

Favorite type of play: charge you at full speed and then veer off at the last moment repeatedly (or sometimes jump up and nearly knock you over which I appreciate less – work in progress), teeth wrestling, tug o war

Favorite trick: anything that will get him a treat – if he sees you have one he will often go through his repertoire of tricks

Worst thing I ever did: de-bordered the rug we put out for him to lay on in his exercise pen

What I love the most: chewing on things, ear rubs, belly rubs, all the rubs, bully sticks and other chews that only seem to last a matter of minutes

What else: He is obviously very smart and will push things as far as he thinks he can. But he is really a sweetheart and is getting much better at playing more gently and obeying. He goes straight to his potty spot behind the garage when he’s let out into the backyard and gets SO excited when he gets praised for it. He enjoys sitting in the grass and soaking up the sun but rain is scary. He barks at anyone he doesn’t know (and sometimes one of us if we are on the other side of a window or wall) but as soon as he can sniff toes he’s good. He also does not appreciate birds and squirrels enjoying his grass or having to be still at puppy class.

We have really enjoyed having him as part of our family and although it has been a lot of work, he’s turning into a very loving and playful dog.
