I spent a lot of time looking for a reliable and humane Doberman breeder that I felt comfortable with. I visited many but did not feel the connection, nor did I think the dogs were treated particularly well. I had always rescued Dobies in the past, so it has been at least 30 years since I last went to a breeder for a puppy. Republic Dobermans was a referral by another breeder who was not breeding dogs at the time. TJ was very open about allowing me meet his dogs, and was very accommodating after the contract was signed for follow-up visits with Sacha and Draco. I immediately felt at ease with TJ and his dogs, and knew I made the right choice. TJ kept me informed of the entire process, and when Vala was born promptly sent pictures and videos. Republic Dobermans also provided their puppies with a though and unique socialization process, exposing them to many stimuli that has nurtured a fantastic personality. Vala is very intelligent, very confident, extremely playful with other dogs and scared of little. She exhibits all the typical Doberman characteristics that I so love about the breed. I would very definitely recommend Republic Dobermans to anyone who may be very particular, maybe skeptical of breeders in general, or those that just want the absolute best temperament they can expect form a Doberman.

T.J. has been amazing to work with during my first adventures into puppy motherhood. He has always been quick to answer my laundry lists of questions about his dogs, his background and general questions about raising a puppy. We got to meet the parents (who were super sweet) and all the little fuzzballs before the selection began and ended up with the little guy who was all about untying my shoelaces. He was certainly memorable. Wolfgang has been an amazing addition to our family. Although he is definitely a puppy (nearly graduated from dobershark) he is extremely smart and learns quickly. When he’s recharging his solar panels in the backyard as we like to call it, he is just gorgeous and regal laying in the grass. He’s very playful and also loves to lounge around and have his ears and belly rubbed. He’s only six months old now but he’s well on his way to being a great dog just like his parents. If you are searching for a new fur baby, Republic Dobermans will not disappoint.

I am extremely fortune to have found Republic Doberman! I stumbled across his page and I'm so happy I did. TJ was super helpful along the way keeping us updated on the new litter and has continued to check up on our Denver. We get so many compliments on his coat and how smart he is. His vet was even impressed and inquired about where we got him as she was in the market for a dobie. Our pup is playful and picks up on new commands and signals so quickly. He has been a great addition to our family.

I have owned several Dobermans, however Skully (aka Mountain Dew) has to be the most impressive of them all. At six months old she weighed in at 60lbs and she was one of the runts of the litter. I own a motorcycle shop and she comes to work with me every day, the customers have fallen in love with her, because of her great personality. Several customers have stated they have Dobermans, but they were impressed with Skully's markings compared to their own dog. Since I have had her, she has only been on a leash to go to the Vet, other than that she walks next to me where every we go, we have no fence on our yard and she stays right around the house, and she hangs outside the shop without being told to. She is not scared of Motorcycles running, not afraid of fireworks, and gets along with everyone she meets, and multiple breeds she has been introduced to. Very happy with Republic Dobermans breed line, and highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a Doberman.

There’s not enough words to describe how pleased I am with Republic Dobermans. My puppy is a well balanced Doberman. He is happy, smart, easy to train, loves to play with both animals & people, when the day comes to an end… he loves to snuggle up with you (he’s such a love bug). My vet was equally impressed and inquired where I purchased him. He mentioned he was the best Doberman he’s handled thru the cropping process. I considered this a huge compliment since this vet is one of the best in my state for cropping. Republic (TJ) was so wonderful to work with and always kept me informed. If I ever decide to add another Doberman to my family, I would definitely purchase from Republic Dobermans!
